Roebic K-87 Soap Digester is a blend of specialized, patented bacteria that thrive in environments with high concentrations of soaps and detergents. These bacteria have the genetic capabilities to degrade soaps and detergents, neutralizing the detergent's harmful effects on other bacteria. The bacteria in this product do their work without negatively effecting other bacteria essential to keeping a system running smoothly. Regardless of whether your wastewater goes to a septic tank, cesspool, or a drywell, you should use this product at least twice a year, and more frequently if necessary.

SGP can be used effectively to help maintain grey water systems (drywells), to help eliminate soap, grease and paper in septic tanks/cesspools, and to help restore flow to sluggish laundry drain lines which are restricted from soap and detergent build-up

Q: My washing machine keeps backing up what product can I use?

A: The K-87 Soap Grease and Paper Digester are recommended. The product should be applied directly into the pipe behind the washing machine. Follow the directions on the back label of the bottle. The product needs to be applied for four nights in a row with flushing the line each following morning.

Q: What is the System Maintenance Program?

A: The Quarterly System Maintenance Program was developed with the formulation of four products to be used through out the year. Each product used in the system has a specific targeted area of the septic system. Every three months one product from the program is applied starting with step 1.
STEP 1) Roebic K-37 Septic Tank Treatment, this digests the proteins and keeps the contents of the tank liquid.
STEP 2) Roebic K-570 Leach and Drain Field Opener, keeps the drain field running properly to optimize the system function.
STEP 3) Roebic K-87 S.G.P. (Soap Grease and Paper Digester), will eliminate soap grease and paper in the system to ensure proper flow.
STEP 4) Roebic K-97 Main Line Cleaner, digests the accumulated sludge build up in the line to maintain proper drainage.

Works Great? My septic tank hadn't been cleaned out since 20015. I used this product like every two months. My septic tank showed not evidence of soap scum in the tank. The septic cleaning company told me I can go three years in between pumping out the tank as long as I continue to use this product.
