Details

A few years back many counties began passing laws that require every septic system to have 2 layers of protection per septic tank riser hole. The reason for this was so that the hole into the septic tank would be covered up even if the septic tank lid was removed. This may help prevent anyone (especially children) from falling into the septic system. NOTE: this product can only improve the safety of your septic system if it is properaly installed.

The Tuff-Tite safety pans fit in any Tuff-Tite riser with tabs. (all Tuf-Tite risers sold by TGWasteWater include the tabs) They screw in to the 4 tabs on each riser.

If your current septic system does not include safety pans we highly recommend adding them. Not only does it improve safety but it may be the law in your area.

Riser Lids - Rounded Lids or Flat Lids with Molded-in gasket. Available in 12", 16", 20" and 24" diameters. Green only.

Tank Adapter Ring (TAR) - For mounting riser or lid to tank when casting-in is not an option.

SS Screws - Our risers do not included the Stainless Steel screws. You must order them separately
Butyl Rope - You will need to put a ring of butyl rope in between your risers and under the Tank Adapter Ring to ensure a water tight seal.
Tar Screw Kit - Use this kit to mount the Tank Adapter Ring to the top of your tank.
