This pressure switch is an important component on all aerobic systems. The pressure switch is housed inside the control panel or alarm box. This allows for a 1/8" connection to the aerator (most commonly a Hiblow HP 80). The pressure switch monitors the pressure of the aerator if the PSI (Pounds per Square Inch) drops bellow 1 the pressure switch kicks on and activates the alarm on your control panel. If you are having problems with your alarm going off when it shouldn''t often this means the pressure switch needs to be replaced.
