Details

The superior formulation and predictable performance of Norweco’s Enviro-C dechlorination tablets provides a consistent reduction or elimination of chlorine residual without significantly reducing dissolved oxygen. When dosing the Enviro-C dechlorination tablets properly, it will take one gram of ascorbic acid to neutralize 1 mg/L of chlorine per 100 gallons of water. This reaction occurs quickly. A single chemical feed tube filled with 20 Enviro-C tablets will remove 1 ppm chlorine from 200,000 gallons of water or wastewater without affecting dissolved oxygen levels or releasing dangerous treatment chemicals into the environment. Enviro-C dechlorination tablets are not affected by long periods of no flow conditions and can be repeatedly immersed in water and dried down with no loss of integrity or performance.

Enviro-C dechlorination tablets are conveniently packaged in 5 lb., 10 lb. and 35 lb. resealable pails to meet a wide range of application requirements. This tablet is well suited for chlorine neutralization required for in-line flushing of municipal water and super chlorinated water, as well as hydrant flushing. Caution
Enviro-C dechlorination tablets are a strong reducing agent containing ascorbic acid. Direct contact with most oxidizing agents such as Bio-Sanitizer disinfecting tablets, swimming pool tablets or any other chlorine containing compound is extremely dangerous. Water or wastewater being treated with Enviro-C dechlorination tablets should be at or near a neutral pH. Care must be taken in the handling and storage of Enviro-C tablets. Avoid prolonged and repeated contact with skin. Wash thoroughly after handling. Store only in sealed original container and in a well-ventilated area. Read the product container label carefully prior to use. Keep out of the reach of children. Enviro-C tablets are not rated as a hazardous substance by the USDOT or USEPA.
