Medo LA-45 Piston Air Pump

Very efficient and quiet pump. My pond has been in operation since 2001 and over the years this pump is very reliable. I have 2 ponds joined and 2 air pumps and only the third time I have to replace 1 or the other pump. They are covered with faux rock boulders and are running year round 24/7. Plastic hose attachment on the pump had broken off and was the reason to replace the pump, other than that, I have no complaints.

This is my 2nd unit - first lasted over 10 yrs operating in my pond 24/7/365.

Long lasting, this one was purchased as a backup for one already owned. First was purchased 4-5 years ago and has seen non-stop useage. I cleaned the filter and it appears ready to go another 4-5 years!
