Thomas AP-60 Septic Air Pump

The AP-60 appears well made, solid construction, came with a 90 degree rubber hose (1-7/8" short leg, 5" long leg, and 11/16" inner diameter) to attach to the main outlet of the pump, along with 2 metal spring clamps for the ends of the rubber hose. There is a 3/16" outer diameter air tap hose barb that comes attached to the pump (on the opposite side of the main pump outlet), which is used to attach an air line that will run to your control box which senses the air pressure; if you have this air line attached farther downstream of the pump into the side of your tubing that goes to your septic system, then you can unscrew the air tap hose barb from the pump, and use the provided screw to close off this tap, "air tap", in the pump. FYI, I called customer service to obtain this information as the maintenance and installation instructions do not state what the air tap hose barb is used for.
