The Observer 500 by SPI is an Indoor/Outdoor high water alarm panel. It is designed to notify you when water levels reach a certain point and activate the included mechanical float switch. The Observer 500 includes a 6’ power cord.

These are great for what their purpose is, however they really need a weep hole in the bottom of the device. Condensation (not leakage) caused my last unit to rust on the interior. As far as their intended purpose they are great alarms.

It was like pulling teeth to clarify whether your product qualified as a drop-in-replacement for the repair of an installed system with a compromised alarm circuit - particularly whether the list of required tools included a SHOVEL. The fact that finally both the power cord and float switch leads connect to individual terminals means this IS capable of swapping in to fix an earlier device without having to dig anything up.. And for about one third the price a service person was going to charge (THEIR business model doesn't work for repairs is all I can say).
